Cheek products are probably my favourite category in makeup. I love a good bright blush and a bronze highlighter but as a full-time broke person, I have to resist the urge to buy every orange blush I see. NIP+FAB Make Up Liquid Blush in Berry Bomb (£12.95)

Every time I'm at Superdrug  I swatch this, it is the most beautiful liquid blush I've ever seen, it is a metallic hot pink that will pop on darker skin. I've swatched it so many times but I  haven't bought it yet as Nip + Fabs prices are a bit out there. As soon as I can find it for half price, she will be mine.

NUDE REVIEWED #1: H&M Cream Lipstick in So Cocoa

Nude Reviewed is a series where I'll be trying affordable nude lip options for darker skin tones.

Our first contestant is the H&M Cream Lipstick in So Cocoa. 

So Cocoa is a gorgeous plummy brown- it had stronger purple undertones than I expected but makes a quite unique and flattering colour for darker skin. It's a creamy thick formula that glides with ease onto the lips but as you can expect it's thickness makes the formula one you can definitely feel on the lips.

H&M claims this formula offers medium coverage and it really does, my lips were completely covered with just two coats applied.

As someone whose lips are chronically dry and can hardly pull off liquid lipsticks without looking like a pruney, shrivelled up mess, I cannot explain how much I appreciate glosses being back in style. I Heart Revolution Mint Chocolate Lip Gloss (£3)

Mint Chocolate is a light beige that looks like a sheer milky nude on dark skin. It isn't an overly sticky or gloopy gloss and it has a nice mint scent.

Revolution Nudes Collection Gloss in Exposed (£3)

Exposed is one of my favourites and I'm now on my second tube. It's described as a deep brown gloss but on my skin tone, it's a sheer MLBB pink shade. The formula is a bit stickier than the other glosses on this list. Also, It smells like butter icing and tastes pretty good too!

Today I'll be sharing some products that do not get the love, attention, or respect they deserve and make me internally scream "Why Isn't Anyone Talking About This?!" despite how amazing they are for the price.

First up is...

Essence 3D Dewy Look Stick, £3.50 

The Essence 3D Dewy Look Stick is a face gloss in a tube that will impart your cheeks with the 'wettest' glow imaginable. I know some will ask "Isn't that just vaseline?" well, yeah but it's in a stick! It's brilliant. That aside its formula is much more elegant than any old tub of vaseline- it's enriched with shea butter, feels very light, isn't sticky and leaves no greasy feeling or residue on your face. In true face gloss fashion it never dries down which I don't mind but to prevent it from moving everywhere or lifting my foundation during application I rub a little on my finger first then gently tap onto my cheeks for that sweaty shine. It is even more gorgeous layered atop highlighters or blush and can even be used as an eye gloss.
